Imagine being a Missouri fan during this time. One should truly wonder how good this team really was despite the overall record; three massive road wins and an overall tough schedule.

Losing to Kansas 41-14 must’ve been fun for Missouri.

It was crazy.

Uncle Al (Onofrio) could get them up for big games like no one else. Then they would lose to shat teams the next.

Being a Mizzou fan is not for the weak.

The type of losses that got the coach, Al Onofrio, fired

Basically a reverse Eli Drinkwitz

1975 was interesting too. Beat Alabama week 1, they finished 11-1. Lost to OU on a late touchdown, they finished 11-1. OU went on to win the national title that year.
