That's funny. How did you manage to find this thread? You're usually so quiet when it comes to all things Arkansas. Did Crow Pie roll over and nudge you?

Exactly. That's about 41% improvement since A&M if I'm not mistaken.

And that's still playing without Tenarious Wright, who is supposed to be back this week. No more true freshman starting at DE. I THINK, just maybe, that will help.

How many rushing yards did USCe have?

Try playing a true freshman DE (first start), a true sophomore DE (first start and not an every down DE. Pass rush specialist), a true freshman cornerback, and a walkon cornerback.
Did these guys have to play against Troy or were you guys healthy for that game?

USCe had 79

and I don't even need to list the issues over there...they're lucky to score points against anyone

Bequette got injured the second game of the season, I believe. Think he missed all of Troy, Bama, and A&M. Then started playing at least part time against Auburn.

Awesome. So we're bringing up last year's Arkansas team? Let's bring up last year's LSU team

These were your words

Over the last few years LSU has played down"

Do you read what you type.

And the concept was that Arky would have greater statistical advantage if the had played BETTER competition. Which is not only wrong, it is ignorant.

Did USC's best player, who happens to be a RB, play in that game?

Then why did you post total team scoring avg. and then claim it as offense? Those stats are not scoring offense they are points/game

Arkansas: 4 kick returns, 1 defensive touchdown.

LSU: 1 Kick return, 1 int return and 2 fumbles returned...

Around here 5>4...so y'all points/game should be lower..furthers the OP point

They rushed for just as many yards, without Lattimore mind you, against Tennessee as LSU did.

Who do you imagine plays with a shorter field? LSU with their defense? Or Arkansas with theirs?

Points scored as a guage of offensive prowess is illogical. As is points against for defense. Yards, IMO, tells a much better story of the actual effectiveness of each team.

So you're saying Arkansas has no depth? That's the difference, we can play our 3 and 4th string Dlinemen without losing a beat. Hell we were without our two starting corners against Auburn and we allowed 161 passing yards and 87 rushing yards.

You can have short fields all day, I'd take an offense that can score as opposed to one that racks up yards...I'm not disagreeing that Arkansas has a good QB and great play makers on the outside..all I am saying is our offense is not as terrible as you think.

So I see you subscribe to the Bama logic of yards > points.
