Offense vs SEC opponents:
Bama 34.1
Arky 31.2
LSU 31.1

Offense vs ALL opponents:
Arky 37.6
LSU 35.8
Bama 35.6

All this talk about Arky's explosive offense, what am I missing here?

Not sure, too lazy... I would say LSU's is pretty high since we run the ball well.

why don't you compare early vs late evening starts?

then you will really see our offense comes alive in games after 5.

this is about what I thought, and supports the quick strike/ high potent offense theory

Quick stick? You score the same amount of points that LSU does. I wouldnt call LSU a potent offense by any stretch. Maybe you can explain this potency theory/myth to me.

You score the same amount of points as LSU, and your defense is on the field longer. How is this an advantage for rkansas??

Ball control is better.

Meant to say quick strike...it's early.

We probably take "potent" to mean 2 different things. I take it as "Damn, that just happened!", whereas you it looks like "we just had a 20 play drive that scored a TD".

Being able to score that same amount of points in less time is pretty impressive though. Even though we played some awful teams to start the year, we also pulled most starters by half time, so if we had played better competition, who is to say we could have put up bigger numbers.

All that said, our offense has been more traditional this year. We "drive" more, instead of quick two-play TD drives.

Also, our playmakers are our WRs, instead of Bama's and LSU's RBs. It is what it is.

Well when you have a top 5 defense in the nation, it sure is. Easy for you to say. Given Arkansas' defense, do you think Miles would feel this way?

I think Hatcher would have to give up 4 TDs to cost LSU this one

Arkansas likes to throw the ball. All that most football fans care about is throwing the ball. Most talking head as well

Never said it was an advantage for Arkansas, just that it looks like we score the same points in less time...supporting the potent offense theory

Our playmakers are our db's, not our rb's. Ask Alabama.
