Coast to Coast sucks. I woke up this morning at 2:50 AM to drive 4 1/2 hours to another family Thanksgiving, so of course I scanned AM stations to find Coast to Coast.

I quickly found a station playing it and at first was excited. Nothing like driving in the middle of the night (or rather early morning) in the darkness while listening to C2C, but ultimately it was a waste of a show because...well...fricking Noory!

Noory actually nearly put me to sleep. He was doing a retarded "Secret Door" show where he supposedly had mystery guests which he tried to identify. He clearly knew who each guest was. It was just pointless and retarded. Not captivating at all.

Well, let me take that back...the final guest was slightly captivating because he was an economic expert discussing what he foresees occurring in the future market during Trump's presidency.

But fricking Noory was so retarded he couldn't even understand what this expert was talking about. At one point the economist said, "George, did you know that in Venezuela one ounce of silver can purchase $260 worth of groceries?"

(clearly the point this expert was trying to make is at any moment a bustling economy can crash and if that happens precious metals will continue to have real value when printed money will not)

fricking George said something like, "That's all?"

The economist acted stumped for a moment and said, "What do you mean, George?"

fricking George said, "That doesn't seem very valuable. I figured it would be worth much more."

The economist was clearly confused but politely said, "Well, George, I guess I don't understand. One ounce of silver purchasing $260 of groceries indicates high value."

And then George said, "But I thought gold would be worth more than that."

The economist said, "I didn't say one ounce of gold. I said once ounce of silver."

fricking George said, "Oh...I thought you were talking about an ounce of gold."




It actually pissed me off. It's the first time I've been traveling in the dark of night listening to Coast to Coast and was so unentertained that I turned the channel.

What a shame. What an incredible embarrassment. Art is rolling over in his future grave.

did you read that? That's the product I had to listen to at 3 AM this morning. Sucked so bad. It was just bad programming.

That ounce of silver the economist was talking about has more value than the Coast to Coast program.

That gimmick has been used for years.
