Stoops has been retired for several years and I don't really give a shite about anybody's "position on the Stoops family tree". It's bizarre that you're thinking about him.

The OP was a subtle jab at how Stoops and his family fricked OU, and also a subtle hat tip at the skills of your HC. Your sidewalk fanbase took it the wrong way and ran with it.
So yes, it’s bizarre that I’m old enough to remember all of the games Oklahoma and Alabama have played this century and make comments about Oklahoma during a week that Alabama and Oklahoma play a football game.

I’m sorry, but I fail to see how Stoops fricked OU over. Maybe a minority of OU fans would ever think that. Stoops kept OU relevant for many years and just couldn’t bring more than one home. To argue otherwise is pretty dumb. Now you may not like him, his decisions, or his family tree, but he was a winner.

Today's the day, Gumps. We are coming to steal your signs. By mid-3rd quarter, you won't have any signs left.
Here's how it works. First, we will steal your signs. Then we will give them back to you, just so we can steal them again. Finally, our offense starts using your signs just to put the cherry on top of a productive afternoon of sign stealing.
To showcase the fact that altruism is not entirely dead in the burglary industry, the stolen signs will be put up for sale after the conclusion of the game on signs4sale.com so all of CFB can have a crack at your signs. At that time, you may buy your signs back if you so choose.
But that's not all! We will steal all the signs we can on our way out of your beautiful township. This is my haul from Knoxville 2 weeks ago. My favorite is the old school RR Xing sign.. I had the opportunity to steal a Gay Street sign but I figure it was better left in Knoxville.
