I'm not asking to go 12-0 every year.. I just want us to get a coach that can bring LSU back to being them physical specimens on defence that wants to rip somebodies head off when they hit someone... And look diciplined and prepared whether we win or lose... Now we look soft as cotton and get pushed around like a red headed step child against top competition.

Just trolling. Badly. I chuckle and ignore them.

Les is a great recruiter. Problem is (and we all have weaknesses), he does not know what to do with his players once they are at LSU. It is painfully obvious when you see a very talented team flailing away on the field. Lack of poise. Lack of discipline. And he cares about them. He truly does. He just does not have the ability to coach.

TigerTalker16 wins this thread. lol
Good luck to the FormerFightingPinkels with their coaching search. They are losing a good one.

On a serious note, I think the media backlash against LSU has more to do with Les the person than Les the coach. He is s a good dude. No one likes to see a nice guy get canned.
He is also a pretty good coach. Maybe LSU will get someone better, maybe they won't, but they are running off a guy that clearly made them a better program.

The media backlash is all about creating controversy. It is a manufactured story.

Great human being. Great recruiter. Average coach who won mostly on the sheer talent of his team. Hate to see him go but it is time.

Can we have Enos?
