Miles was cautious to avoid comments that would earn him a fine or suspension. Still, he was eager to get a better look at the replay.

“I was told speculation is rampant to what [the call] was,” he said.

He said he’d support the referees to his team. Although …

“The difficult issue I have is telling my team [he was going to support the refs]. That’s the issue. Telling Patrick Peterson, who in his mind knows it’s an interception.

“If it’s the right call, it’s easy.”

Instead of blaming the refs, maybe LSU fans should blame their own player for running into PJ Fitzgerald with 7 minutes left in the game while Bama was punting.

What about Les Miles' "Go for two" call that had they gone for the PAT it would have been a 7 point game with 3 minutes to go with LSU having control instead of a 9 point game?

Again-I'm not blaming the refs for the Tigers losing...all I'm saying that the replay official made a terrible call that everyone for the most part saw the other way....Even Eli Gold calling the game on the Bama network said he saw on the replay one-maybe 2 feet in clearly and that the call will be overturned....admit it-over and done. It didn't cost the Tigers the game but it did make the SEC refs look bad agin and LSU a much better situation to try and drive for the winning TD!!
