Chubb averaged over 7 ypc against Bama this year. Fournette didn't break 2. I'll take Chubb.

Chubb sucked arse against Bama as well. Then Bamas second string came in and they got lazy up 20+ points and he got one big run

Bama's second string isn't much different from its first string. And Fournette could have done the same and didn't.

Fournette makes Chubb look like a chump. Ridiculous comparison. Chubb not in the same universe as the great Fournette.

We don't have a healthy Chubb. Fournette is the better RB right now because he came out and proved it this past season. If Chubb is healthy this year maybe this changes. We'll see.

No. He doesn't. Apparently, you don't know anything about football.

Right now, Fournette has to be considered the better RB, because he proved it on the field while Chubb was hurt. But make no mistake about it....NOBODY makes Chubb look like a chump.

UGA may had more of a passing threat (at least more than Harris posed);

You do know that Harris had more passing yards than Lambert, right? And he did that in the West.....the the argument LSU fans are using to prove Fournette is a better back by a mile? He did it against the much better West?

I don't know why one has to be crowned the best. It seems obvious to me that Derrick Henry was the best this past year. Chubb was the better the year before and only time will tell who will be the best next year. If I had to guess, I would guess Fournette will finish the best this coming year....but because Chubb is coming off a major injury. We will never know for sure who was the best in college. It's all opinion and they are both great backs. Would be happy to have either.

Jesus, we got some idiots on this board. Still having an argument about who has the better running back like second graders.

We can revisit this topic after they both go pro and look back at career stats and big game performances. Only then will this debate be settled

It'll never be settled....as such. It is impossible to settle this type of argument unless there is a clear advantage shown. (Like one back gets 500 yards and the other gets 1500) People will always argue about the toughness of the conference, division, OOC opponents, number of carries etc. Just look at the Bo and Herschel arguments still going on. I think it is safe to say UGA fans would want Chubb and LSU fans would want Fournette. Texas A&M, Alabama and Arkansas fans will say Chubb, and Auburn, Florida and South carolina fans will say Fournette just to aggravate their rivals fan base.
