I will proudly say we lost to elite Bama football teams coached by perhaps the best coach to coach the game. They brought their A game to those contests.

Now, let's see...who has Bama been losing to during that time when they left their A game at home? They lost to an LSU and Tennessee team, that UGA ended up mopping the floor with in that same season, by the way.

They also played like the Bad News Bears against a Michigan team they should have outmatched; Oh and uh, the last time we played Michigan in the playoffs, we prison-raped them.

They've also needed miracles to save them from a putrid Florida team and twice against Auburn teams (21 & 23) that ended up with losing records, oh and they struggled to put away South-Freakun-Florida sometime along the way.

Need I go any further?

8 of 9 to Saban. No shame in that. But uh, those days are over, and so are the Bama glory days as you knew them. Let the good times roll.
