DKR stadium and BDS have practically identical seating capacities. It will be interesting how the Texas offense handles the crowd noise seeing as how this is by far the largest road crowd anyone on this team has ever played in front of.
I know Bama fans don’t like to hear this, but even now that BDS is over 100K capacity, it still isn’t that loud. It’s not that the crowd isn’t good, it’s the design of the stadium dating back to when it was first built. It simply doesn’t hold on the crowd noise like other SEC stadiums like Jordan-Hare in Auburn and LSU’s Tiger Stadium. Both of those stadiums get so loud you can’t even hear yourself scream. Again, it isn’t that Auburn fan and LSU fans are more passionate, it’s how those stadiums are designed.
The Cotton Bowl in Dallas is the only place I've ever been where the hair stood up on my neck like a rabid dog. It is the most unique setting in College Football. And it is incredibly loud, win or lose, the entire game.

Will Anderson Jr. praises Texas crowd, calls it 'loudest and craziest' he's experienced.
Will Anderson Jr. has been in some of college football’s most exciting environments. Whether it’s at Auburn in the Iron Bowl, Death Valley in LSU or Kyle Field before a night game.
But the Alabama linebacker said that Saturday at DKR Texas Memorial Saturday was the loudest he’s ever heard."
Sark and his staff had no idea what to expect going to Arkansas. He underestimated the B12, half of which Texas is their biggest game. He has learned.

Stadium is split. Max is 45,000 or so OU fans. Going to need to multiply by 2X+ today sport.
Most likely you have never been to Cotton Bowl so you didn’t know that.

Two old sayings come to mind:
"If it smells like shite everywhere you go, maybe it's time to check your own shoes."
"Odds are that if you run into an a-hole in the morning, you just ran into an a-hole. If you run into assholes all day, you are likely the a-hole."
