There are LSU fans that actually think the REC has someone stationed in the Coleman Coliseum parking (within eye sight of the football complex mind you) just handing out cash to football players as they come by. A Bama fan I know was told this by one of his LSU customers

Nick Saban identified LC's girlfriend as the deciding factor in his decision and he developed an excellent recruiting strategy; she got a scholly and a job from Bama and there is no one who can prove an NCAA violation occurred....his mother may not be the best speller or speak the king's English, but Bama players shouldn't make fun of her; she loves her son just like your moms love you....LC is at Bama and let's all just accept it...

Strictly speaking, the allegations did come from an LSU fan, Collins' mom. She ain't exactly a believable or unbiased witness. Alabama was going to grayshirt Collins? What kind of idiot would believe that?
As the first linked article said, even if there had been a job offer it wouldn't have been a violation anyway.
