At this point the way LSU misses on guys they target and the fanbase tries to skew it to cheating or following a girl etc I'd rather be on the outside looking in

Like I mentioned before Saban has very strong ties established in LA,and Bama will always be a player as long as he is there.

Nope, but first hand accounts don't do much to squash the rumors.
The bottom line is this kid burned a lot of bridges in several respects. He's the exception but now he owns it.

I'm talking about LA top recruits getting attacked on these forums and on their twitter just because they want to go to a school not named LSU.

No I'm really confused.
Do you think LF to Bama? Despite what I've heard, I don't see it. He could get 250 carries as a Freshman at LSU, it's starting to look like he maybe gets 100 next year if he comes to Bama, unless we just can't throw it and have to run it.

I wouldn't be surprised if we lose every single top LA recruit to other teams in the future. LC didn't deserve to be trashed like he was, but he wanted a dramatic announcement and he got one.
All the big recruits in LA seem to be friends on twitter, so they see all the hate from LSU fans and the love from Bama fans after they announce. Winning the last 2 national championships doesn't hurt either, especially when they see Bama made it into the NC game in 2011 as the SECw runner ups. It's not going to be any fun to be an LSU fan over the next few years.

I admitted to being petty yesterday, but seriously...frick that kid. He should grow a pair before he starts worrying about who respects him and who doesn't. His entire recruitment was a fricking fiasco and a joke on every fan in Louisiana...including his own mother.
Landon, if you have half a chest and even one nut, you'll figure out how to set some kind of example for your younger siblings, cousins, and any other your brother coming out of La.
