The defense can only do so much, im an LSU fan, and I know all about terrible offense and good defense we had that for years besides these last 2.

You've got a great offense this year. What, in your opinion is the problem? Because, just from an outsider looking in, it looks like a really bad, undisciplined defense.

If you would care to read the article that is pretty much what Kirby said. Great offenses can beat a great defense, but you really need a really good defense, too.

Defense will win you games, but it won’t win you the “special games” like vs Alabama LSU Clemson Ohio state and even Florida now.
Seems to have worked for Alabama for many years. When Alabama transitioned away from playing great defense they have struggled to win those "special" games, too.

People get focused on one thing and forget the obvious. it takes both. I can't think of a team that has won the NC without at least a good, solid defense.

Keep thinking that Georgia. It is the only thing keeping you from winning a title. Love to see it.

I wonder what keeps Florida from winning a title? I mean, seems you have it all figured out.

I read his entire statements and I can't find anything with what he said that I would disagree with.

UGA's lacked a potent offense like Alabama, Clemson, etc. If we can get all the O puzzles together at one time, and combine it with our current D, maybe we can win it all.

like going out and getting a legit OC? Like recruiting mobile dual threat QBs? It's almost like we've done both of those things!

Getting the right HC is the key! Got to know both offense and defense and make adjustments! Not just have good offense and defense.

Good lord, be thankful our qb quit. If y’all can’t beat us now, then it may not happen for a long time.

But bama and LSU wasn’t really that close.

It was as close as the score indicated. Came down to a burrow scramble, didn’t it?

Georgia wont win a championship until they change their offensive scheme. They have the talent but struggle to utilize it with limited play calling. 10 years ago the best defenses could shut down the best offenses. Thats not true today.

Good lord the dumb is strong with this one. Hasn’t a clue what he watches.
