I see this said a lot by Gator fans but. No. Not even close.
Not only did LSU smash the playoff with the best team to ever do it, they then won the west even with BK, followed up by JD winning a heisman.
Florida hasnt sniffed half of what LSU has lately. 2008 is a long, long time ago.
LSU has absolutely owned the series the past 10 years, you havent had half the recruiting, and you guys went into direct competition with LSU who came in LATE and still couldnt stop us from taking Lane.
Florida is not close to LSU.
