I'm thinking this game is going to be a foul shooting contest with each team losing 2 maybe 3 players at games end. The deepest bench may prevail. If the game follows this course then I think Vandy may take it. If UK is red not out of the gate then UK will have to survive when the game slows down, this is when Vandy is most deadly with it's consistent play and deep bench. Should be a great game. Can't wait to have UK visit Memorial Gym. I have seats behind the visiting teams bench and look forward to watching Calapari coach.

Vandy is a good team and props to their win over Tennessee but I think UK wins.

After reading all the posts it seems most think it's a close game and nobody will be shocked if Vandy wins at Rupp. Agreed?

Well the Cats have certainly outplayed Vandy to this point and appear likely to finish in the same manner (~8 minutes left). Vandy doesn't look like they have a run in them today.

Well played UK. Not many will beat you when you shoot and rebound like you did today.

Good game Dores....tougher game in Memorial.

Vandy could not hit their shots. Looking forward to the next game in Nashville. I hope Cousins will get ejected if he throws another forearm.

Mike, this is nothing against you. How in the hell can anyone say good game Vandy. They played like crap and were finished when the ball was tipped. They shot poorly, had terrible turnovers, and didn't hustle. Their best player was dominated by Cousins. The refs completely ruined the game. They blew the whistle so many times that there was never any flow. THis game was one of the more boring games that I can remember. So to this I say Thanks for playing, Vandy, maybe you will play better when we come down there.

IMO, Ogilvy isn't even their best player. Jermaine Beal is.

I agree that Ogilvy is waaaaaaaaaay overrated, however I don't know anyone else on their teams name, because I don't think any of them are great. What was that guy who could shoot lights out for them a few years back? He was good.

As much as it pains me to type it, I agree with this except for the "best player" part. Walker & Beal are the best players and Taylor is better than Ogilvy.

Dude, you cannot compare Vandy to UK. Kentucky has all the talent and starts. They should still be undefeated but they are not. Vandy has "No top recruits or Star Athletes". Vandy is a very well coached team that excels. Vandy should never beat Kentucky based on talent. So when you say Ogilvy is way over rated can you please explain?

Just needed to put some things in perspective you you.

When they say over-rated it's likely due to the fact that he was widely considered a first team all SEC caliber player at the onset of the season.

I think that's at least in part due to his being listed as a center. All the other good bigs are listed as forwards: Varnado, Patterson, Cousins, Chism, etc... Who would you replace him with at center?

His classification is a moot point.
