Seriously Kentucky - what was that crap yesterday?

You have a beautiful stadium… you’re in the SEC at home, and yesterday’s stream looked like it was coming from an early generation GoPro mounted on the roof behind home plate.
And the audio… it’s was like two students bantering in the foreground while the announcer could barely be heard.

Seriously - wake the frick up and show some pride… we have standards. Just because Missouri is lame doesn’t mean you get to be.

I didn't see it but did the school itself do the broadcast or was it an ESPN+ thing?

It was on the ESPN app, but that was so different than the normal ESPN streams of SEC baseball it had to be something in-house. I tried multiple times to switch over but the stream was pretty much unwatchable.

You guys have the ability to make up a ton of ground in building a baseball program because some Kentucky clearly decided to use some of that SEC money on facilities... Marketing needs to kick it into another gear.

The facilities they've built are first class, wish the play on the field matched it. 7-0 to start the season so hopefully it'll be a good if not decent year. I've always envied other SEC baseball atmospheres

Go back and watch the broadcast from Friday and Saturday, they're normal. There must have been something else going on that the normal broadcast team wasn't available so they put a camera behind home plate and set the radio guy close.

It's not just Kentucky... the low quality production is coming from ESPN.

Streams are so bad i'd rather listen to the radio.
