it doesn't make sense to say Clemson is falling off a cliff in recruiting.
kind of think UGA would like to have the QB we have now. he's out of California.
there's no evidence Clemson would have lost to Alabama. There is no transitive property in sports.
Alabama also had the benefit of watching video of OSU playing Clemson. OSU was much more aggressive passing the ball against Clemson than they were in Big 10.

if the recruiting is weak, why do all the sports websites rank Clemson in top 4.
What teams in this country have better QB and WRs than Clemson.

i do not follow recruiting class rankings.
i believe Clemson's two recent titles came with lower recruiting class rankings than what Clemson gets now.
alabama knows better than anybody that recruiting rankings are overrated given Hunter Renfrow sliced them up.

Since that huge Super Bowl victory 3 years ago, Clemson hasn't been the same. Absolutely annihilated by LSU. Lost to Notre Dame last season. Annihilated by OSU. You guys have been getting exposed left and right.

It is true Clemson has taken some big L's but those were really good teams and Clemson's been pretty young.
If Clemson wins it this year, they will have won 3 out of 6 in the Saban era. lol

Clemson has Ngata, Ladson, EJ Williams (out of Alabama), Ajou Ajou, Branne Spector along with at least two really good TEs.

if Alabama won it with Mac Jones, a medicore QB until last season, why can't Clemson with it with DJ. lol
you probably didn't know Ngata and Ladson were supposed to be the top two WRs last year and were hurt most of the season.
this year there is no Burrow, no Tau, no Mac Jones, no Justin Fields. I like Clemson's chances.
