It hasn't been competitive? 3/4 have come down to 1 score and the only thing keeping Auburn from winning the last 2 are our QB breaking his arm the first drive, and a phantom PR TD that should have been called back for a block in the back and 2 holds.


UGA winning 9 out of the last 11 games has been very competitive. And let's be real, one of those 2 wins was a fluke. But I guess that's about as competitive as it can get.

That was my point. Ben Jones is the kind of lineman any and every team wants. Granted, he's a dirty SOB, he's a team guy and a damn leader. Fairley was and is a thug and made a name for himself hitting QBs 2 seconds after the play was over. UGA has had our share of thugs but Auburn calling out anyone for a thug pisses me off.

It all depends on which school they play for.

No I wouldn't have been a Fairley fan if he had been at UGA. He is a punk and never lived up to his potential between the whistles.

But I think we are citing the same game/ season (2010) and Fairley was out of line driving AM into the ground on late hits only to have 5 UGA linemen, led by BJ, targeting NF. Correct?

I see a difference in cheap shots and retaliation. Neither are right, but one instigates and another reacts. Fairley made his name hitting QB's late and driving them into the grass and Jones made a name for standing up for his team. Y'all won't agree but I bet if you go back and listen to the 2010 game, you'll hear the broadcasters talk about how Fairley should be ejected and the fines he'd accrue in the NFL for dirty play.

I know the "Lolz" feeling. Had it the last decade playing the war eagle tigers. Maybe this year...

Hell it might be time to drop some permaban bets.
