Damn I didn't realize some of you didn't desegregate until the 90s or later.

That was mostly a reference to Walt talking about Florida vs Tennessee between 1896 and 1979 and how great the Vols were. It's interesting how in the modern era of football Tennessee is nothing more than average. 44-44 since Phil was fired. Missed several bowl games, losing seasons, no New Years Six or major bowl games in more than 10 years.

Mediocrity is Tennessee football's new identity.

That's not really fair. Treon's been to Atlanta.

Except he can't throw the ball nearly as well. Franklin was seriously underrated, but he did get hurt a lot.

Dobbs is going to be really good this year and win the East.

Prediction
14 games 12-2
3000 pass yards 24 TDs
700 rush yards 12 TDs

Preston Williams will make a big impact for him.

Dobbs is not that bad. Dobbs is taller and can take a hit better then Treon Harris. I wouldn't want Dobbs as my QB but he is better the Harris. Any athlete that's not afraid of getting hit is better then T.Harris.
