This was taken from our 247 board, but I felt like it was interesting.

So Jimbo has an interesting relationship with the bye week. Overall he is 3-4 off a bye (though the ACC's are often shorter due to Thursday night games).

In the ACC he was 3-2 off the bye and coached three years with no bye week at all (I've added his bowl result to those years for comparison):

2010: Loss to NC State off a 12 day bye week

2011: Loss to WF off a true bye week

2012: Win over Duke after a 12 day bye week

2013: Win over Nevada after a 12 day bye week

2014: OT Win over #22 Clemson off a true bye week

2015: No bye week (lost Peach Bowl to #18 Houston)

2016: No bye week (beat #6 Michigan by 1 in Orange Bowl)

2017: No bye week (Jimbo did not coach the bowl game)

So far in the SEC, he is 0-2 off the bye (losses to MSST in '18 and Bama in '19)

This weekend our team is facing a coach whose only wins after a bye week are to Duke, Nevada, and a #22 Clemson team whose plays were called by Chad Morris.

TL:DR: JIMBO frickED
