Colorado State is 2-7 and are currently in 7th place in the Mountain West. They are 111th in rushing offense, 106th in scoring offense, and 101st in total offense. I told you guys McElwain was holding us back and the talent was carrying him. Nussmeier has proven to be a huge upgrade. It's nice to have an offense that can score TDs in the red zone for once and not settle for field goals.

When Saban leaves, he's gonna return to Bama Chizik style.

BM...come on man. Even Coach Saban going up there this season would maybe have them 3-6 and 6th place in the Mountain West.

Wouldn't that be karma at its best?

McElwain was a solid OC in between the 20's but there was never any reason for a team stacked with NFL linemen and HB's to be in the 100's in redzone offense. He got way too cute with his passing in the RZ.

Saban's coaching tree is beginning to resemble Bryant's coaching tree. Seemed like damn near every assistant who worked for Bryant was a mess on his own.

Coaching Bama's offense is completely different than coaching Colorado State.

McElwain blows LSU out last night. Nuss almost blew the game and got the Bama defense exposed with all the 3 and outs. McElwain wasn't perfect, but I'd take his experience over Nuss any day.

McElwain wouldn't have put up three TDs on LSU's defense. He would have settled for field goals especially during that last drive of the first half.
