Agreed, and that goes for all the players who played in the past. There were a lot of tough SOB's going for his knee's. The stat that impressed me most. "NEVER MISSED A GAME" in 9 years. Granted they didn't play as many, but as a RB and never hurt. Impressive.

Now, had he come up today he probably wouldn't play RB. He would be a terror coming off the edge though.

Jim Brown always seemed like a dick to me.
1. He seems to be racist.
2. He's one of those "greats" that can't stand for anyone to doubt that he was the greatest RB to ever play.
3. He wears that ridiculous african gear when he's just as american as I am. If I break out a scottish kilt or a cockneyed english accent, then don't take me seriously.

There's no way in hell jim brown ran a 4.3 forty. He'd probably have average RB speed in today's game.
