only because Pertrino wants to toss the ball all over the lot. Doesn't make him a better player

+1.

Mallett could put up tons of yards, but I doubt he's ever going to be a better QB than Snead.

Doesn't Mallett have an attitude problem? He's been arrested while at Ar-kansas and I've heard rumors about his shitty off-field behavior when he was at Michigan.

A great QB does all of the right things in practice and off the field as well. A great QB is a true leader and an ambassador for his team- all things that Jevan Snead is.

Mallett still has a lot to prove, I'm jus sayin...

I also heard that ESPN brought some kind of crew with them to look for a spot to set up for a possible game day. Either LSU or Bama probably, but that could also be a huge rumor. But then again its not like Gameday has ever been to Oxford so they may have had to do a little research.

They should have been there in 03' for the LSU game.

A healthy Greg Hardy this year.
McCluster having more experience in the Wild Rebel.
Snead.
3 stud tailbacks.

I'm pumped even thinking about it.

Not to mention Nutt is apparently a good recruiter unlike many thought.

Big time trouble-maker. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets kicked off the team before the season starts.

He was the #2 QB out of HS and has what is generally accepted to be the strongest arm in the college game.

Mallet completed 43 % of his passes at Michigan.
He had two wr's drafted from that team, and His left tackle was the number 1 pick.

He might have a really strong arm, but that won't do him any good if he doesn't throw it to his teammates.

It goes a little something like this

"...........gonna take a lot of heart, a lot of courage, I tell ya men you are gonna have to play your hearts out on the field. You love those looks and the fight in our players. Take it to em and to fall short. We have another moral victory to hang our hats on and lets prepare for next week."

you will hear the above referenced a least several times in your upcoming season-- Keep in mind that Snead was not a Nutt recruit and will be the best QB at Ole Miss during his era.

Care to elaborate?

It is public knowledge that he was arrested for Public Intox. He was simply drunk walking down Dickson St.. You can get a P.I. for pissing behind a dumpster, in a back alley, or just bump into a douche bag cop on a power trip. Honestly, we all qualify for a P.I. when we go to Hooters and have a beer.

My personal opinion is that he looks like a douche bag supreme and he has the look of a kid you want to kick in the face, but is there evidence you want to share of him being a "trouble maker"? Colt McCoy looks like a douche that needs an arse whipping, so does Tim Tebow, but they are stand up guys.

On the surface, the Dickson incident isn't really a big deal, but I've heard that he was a thugged out d-bag at Michigan that smoked cigs, got hammered all the time, and was a guy that all of his teammates thought was an arse-hat.

Maybe he has turned the corner from 2 years ago at Michigan, but the recent arrest didn't help convince me.

If he has a good season and leads Arkansas to contention in the West, fans won't care how much of a tool he is I guess...

Terrelle Pryor will frick shite up next year.
Ryan Mallet concerns me, but I haven't seen him play for Arky yet so I really don't know. Jevan Snead (Homer) I think will be very good next year he just can't let the media attention get to his head, which is a little unlikely because he's worked too had to get where he is. Colt McCoy=Badass. Sam Bradford=Funny looking badass. Tebow=Tebow

It's gone be a great year! Thank you Ollie.

What has been conveniently left out, or forgotten, is that Arthur Blank DID NOT LET HIM ADDRESS THE TEAM. If Blank had his way, there wouldn't even have been a letter.

Sure, he could have just sat out a few more games in the NFL but if he was going to move back to college, specifically the SEC and Arkansas, he had to take the job right then and there. Recruiting was reopening in days and the job wasn't staying open forever.

There is more than one side to every story.
