Saban has won at every school he's been at and that includes the toledos of the world. Long should just worry about Arkansas and the playoff comitee. It looks like he's trying to be Zar of college football.

It's hard for me to believe the television ratings have gone up for bowl games. I am a big football fan and used to watch the early bowl games that start around the middle of December. Now with all the conference match up's the bowl games are horrible. I don't even start watching until the last week in December because the better teams are playing even though they play schools that I have no interest in. The conference alignment ruined the bowl games. But I guess they all wanted their share of the money. I use to watch football all day on January 1. I may watch one game maybe two. Don't enjoy the bowl games that I enjoyed years ago.

Huh? You are confused.
No one cares what he thinks about interest in the weedeater bowl. The bowls are for entertainment to those who have an interest, and for a great payday to an institution that NEEDS that money dearly.
We have a playoff now. Yes, those games draw more attention.......shocker! But they don't "lessen" the interest in the other games of those who would be interested either way.
Again, he's one of the best coaches ever, but that in NO way makes him a good business man. It's amazing that he says something, so the Tide fans think they should follow his words.
Yes always hitching about a rule, yet he does the things he is bitching about. I love it because most of his crying about rules is right after Bama gets owned by another team.
