Yea Peterson is a top 10 pick next year if he goes pro. He'd be top 15-20 if he could enter this year

So Saban is the only one that can turn other coaches recruits into better players /quote]

There is a sophomore on the list. Harris from Miami.

I think he's projected 3rd-4th.
You could be right bmy, no way it's 3rd rd. though. Imo, early 2nd, possible late 1st. His return ability will drive his stock higher.

Shula had Arenas as a returner and a backup reciever. Gotta give him credit for finding him though because he was not on the radar.Saban was the one that moved him to defense and made him into a Thorpe Award finalist. You can hate Saban all you want but he has a great eye for talent when it comes to defense and is great at putting guys in the right spots to maximize their effectiveness.

People don't throw a whole lot at Javy either, they tend to go after Kareem and Marquis.
Till this year he was really underrated as a CB cause of how good he is as PR. Which is understandable I guess since he didn't really become a really good corner till last year.

To be honest there are rarely great 5'9 WR nowadays. I don't see how the switch to corner is so mind blowing. I think it is more of an example of Shula being a dumb arse.
If someone told you a football player was 5'9 what position would you immediatley think of?

in what fantasy world is arenas a first rounder?

He's 5th on Kiper's board for corners, add in his return ability and he should be a pretty high draft pick. Being a few inches taller wouldn't hurt obviously.

Durability has not been a major issue for Arenas up to this point in his career, but it has to be called into question give his relatively small stature. He stands at just 5'9'' and 195 pounds, which is acceptable for college but could be a problem at the next level. Arenas can make up for his height deficiency with speed and by playing physical football, but he will be overwhelmed at times by bigger NFL wideouts. His talent as one of the most dangerous return men in the nation, however, is undeniable. That alone will give Arenas an outside shot at a first-round selection in the 2010 draft. He will be a great pick for any team that needs an upgrade on special teams and depth in the secondary.

Height is sometimes overrated, jumping ability is just as important.
Javy reminds me of Antione Winfield of the Vikings, small in stature, but a beast in run support...

He is also apparently one of the strongest players on the team pfp.

There is no way I would pick a guy to be just a back up in the secondary and a KR. You could end up with Hester or possibly not even a backup while wasting a first rounder.
