A single frame photo doesn't prove anything- one way or the other.

How is the hideout play OU used any different than a fumblerooski, reverse, fake punt, fake fg, misdirection on a handoff, draw, screen, flea flicker, double pass, or any other trick play you can think of used in football? It’s all using deception in some form to try and score. Even a play action pass or RPO play is using deception. Whole offensive game plans are built around RPO or PA pass plays. Even the defensive side of the ball will simulate pressure and back out or bring it from another spot. The game of football is built on deception.

"It's Teddy Lehman, OU Butkus winner. But then I am confused what it is that he said that's bad"
I guess it depends on what you mena by "bad". He said they practiced for- and sucessfully ran - the that play.

Luckily, I don’t think Auburn will care about the game by the end of the year after 3 more losses.

And not all deception is legal. Eligible receivers that may catch a pass have to report it and line up in an eligible position if they wear lineman numbers.
Hell Bama had a TD called back last year after Ryan Williams caught a TD while covered up before the play. Rules matter

A play the SEC told all the coaches was a point of emphasis to eliminate.
The crystal methhead dustbowlers don’t have the intellectual capacity to understand why the play is illegal, though.

If they keep on crying about the OU game then it could turn into more than 3 losses.

Otherwise reporting is basically a courtesy to check if you’re on the line or not. Has nothing to do with substitution. Yet, so many morons pine off that “we cleared it with the refs”.

I was only a lineman in HS and even I knew that.

That’s getting technical. What OU did is no worse than a reverse, flea flicker, or fumblerooski.

It’s genuinely embarrassing. They’re posting on a sports message board without knowing the basic rules of said sport, and seem to have no interest in learning them.

The SEC doesn’t release an official statement condemning their own refs after those plays.
