Didn't drooling Lou even win one there? Man, imagine not being as successful as a guy that has to have a spittle guard.
This isn't the 90s. Nebraska, Colorado, FSU & Miami were powerhouses back then too. Not so much anymore.
Kelly has more career wins than Lou did at Notre Dame. ND doesn't get Rocket Ismail type talent anymore which makes Kelly's record there even more impressive.

You just said MSU won titles before so Saban had no excuse. Now here's a list of excuses.

We even had enough left over to buy Notre Dame’s coach

Just like tGOAT shouldn't have any excuse to losing to a lowly LSU team coached by Gerry Dinardo, right?

Even tBear won a Natty at Kentucky. Why couldn't tGOAT win one at Michigan State? Sparty has 3 titles that are recognized & claim 6.

You do realize that was Saban's first year there and Sparty was coming off of sanctions, right? Do you need to be reminded of who LSU lost to in Saban's first year?

How were the other SEC teams when Orgeron and Miles won the championship?

Why haven't LSU fans not seeing the real reason that other SEC teams were way down in recruiting and didn't have a good HC/coaching staff?
2007
LSU beat 5 teams that were ranked in the final top 15. 3 of those teams were SEC teams, Auburn, Florida & Tennessee. The other 2 were Virginia Tech & Ohio St who both got their doors completely blown off by LSU.

2019
LSU beat 7 teams that finished in the final top 25. 4 out of 7 of those teams were SEC teams. Alabama, Georgia, Florida & Auburn. Clemson, Oklahoma & Texas were the other 3.

You've picked a really dumb hill to die on.

Don't forget losing 2 games.
Biggest joke of a title in 40 years.

Saban had a better record in his first season at LSU than he did in his first at Bama

He had to sit a bunch of starters because of Textbookgate.

Why do you bother with that guy? That’s all he does… rip on LSU, Auburn, and Tennessee. It’s the meaning of his life.

QB Tony Banks, WRs Muhsin Muhammad & Derrick Mason all went on to play in the NFL. So did Scott Greene, Travis Reese & Josh Keur.

Notre Dame won bigger games before Kelly

Not saying anyone else did. Just shows how terrible everyone was that year.
