Buggs is a beast. There is no doubt about it. Scouts must have seen it differently. He had to have have gotten a bad evaluation from them.
Otherwise, I dunno how he could up millions to earn another participation trophy. In the grand scheme of things, that is what a college championship is compared to the NFL.

Probably wanted to raise his draft stock? He was pretty good against the run but didn’t as much as pass rusher. Maybe he wants to show he can do that too? A few years ago when a bunch of underclassman declared, a bunch didn’t even go in the top 3 rounds with some going undrafted. Not a bizarre idea to come back.

Yea. Thats what I mean by draft evaluation. He must have gotten told some stuff to make him decide to stay. Like a 5th-6th round eval.

I'm a little worried about the secondary with Harrison going pro but the front seven is so stacked that it might not even matter that much.
Clearly not every young DB is the same, and Alabama will have a new secondary coach in 2018, but the 2015 team started 3 freshmen in the secondary. So I won't be overly worried.

Still be ok. Damien is coming back and we still have Jacobs. Will still be 4-5 deep at RB next year.

Come on, now. We're taking a pretty sizeable hit in the secondary.

The 50,000 in cash and free charger he received before signing with Bama surely helps.
