i mean everyone and their brother knows that. it won't be UGA that takes an image hit though, it will just be richt and the current state of the program. 8-5 and 6-7 does not crush a program. it may be in a weak state but who is to say UGA will be irreversibly hurt?

We're Georgia, we'll never be irreversibly hurt unless we get the death penalty. With that said, I'm going to get drunk and lay out. Bbl

We've won the east 3 times, 2 SEC titles, 2 BCS bowls in 3 appearances, finished in the top 3 twice and the top 10 6 times and finished with a top 10 recruiting class every year but 1. We may be underachieving, but to say we're a "sad program" is just completely off the mark.
...and those are all failures. UGA is content being ok at times. No fire in the belly to win it all. I think Georgia want to win but that don't have the want to prepare to win.
8-4 this year and Richt stays because Georgia is ok with 8-4 most of the time.
Georgia would be a power house with the right coach.

Eh.
We're just better people.
Reason enough to be considered elite, IMO.

I know your somewhat joking...but I think there is some truth to it.
I don't think it's a bad mentality at all. There is much more in life than football.

The '04 SECCG saw Georgia thrash LSU 34-14? I beleive and jamarcus Russell got hurt. I will never forget that game because UGA fans would not let us leave dome. I'm sorry but you guys are not exactly the classiest
Couldve been '05 I dunno

I hate to say it but I pretty much agree with that. CMR has been a good coach and a fine representative of UGA but he has not been a great coach which is what it takes to win consistently in the SEC. Mark's downfall has been poor hiring decisions and lack of disciple. His offense has gotten stale and relies too heavily on skill players. Our defense declined significantly with Martinez at the helm. Though our recruiting has been good overall, CMR's recruiting in the trenches, the foundation of any good team, has not been good.

It was 2005 and no one said we were classier. We have oodles of arse holes, idk what they're talking about. But if we are comparing I have been at 3 games involving LSU, 2 vs UGA, and y'all by far are the worst fans I have ever endured. Not to say you are personally just letting it be known.

My comment was in response to some UGA fan who said 'we're just better people'.
I dont expect to have a sane, rational conversation about X's and O's or who has the prettiest campus, nicest looking women, or best unis, because I am a fan of LSU, thus inherrently fanatical about my team. Whatever sanity and logic needs to be metted out, I'll leave that up to LSU brass and coaches since they are the ones I expect to perform in a more civil manner to produce results.
So I totally agree with you. If LSU fans are considered 'the worse fans ever' so be it. That makes them in my book some of the best fans since they are staying true to their nature, and what CLM wants them to be, which is fanatical about their team's expectations.
Now unless you are the Chaplain for UGA, then i can understand your conservativeness and why you may be offended by what a rabid-fan like me may have to say (even when it doent make sense). But make no mistake about it, I will be exceptionally fanatical about LSU's prospects whenever the opportunity arises.

ok fine, as a UGA fan UF is by far the worse in my experiences and well i guess most UGA fans IMO. but overall it would be LSU. PSU is also up there.
UF fans are atrocious, but for LSU not being a rival it was pretty awful how they behaved. and we expect such from you goons

Dude, just admit it. And say you are still but hurt from AJ Green being flagged for excessive celebration.
Admit it. It hurts. It hurts bad.

what am i admitting? i said our fans were arse holes, i actually agreed with you
what tissle said i disagree with pretty vehemently at that.
and yea, that fricking flag is still burned into my mind. one of the biggest botches in modern SEC football and for that i hope that officiating crew is throughly punished like the gutter trash they are.

Definitely one of the worse calls in SEC history. The only thing I could imagine since he obviously didnt do anything was that he said something so offensive, the ref got mad. But yeah that was absolute garbage if this wasnt the case

If you were at the 2007 WLOCP you would say UGA has the most classless fans in the SEC if not the country. Now not all of them are bad, there are some decent ones, but the only decent ones I know IRL I am related too. There are a few good uga fans on here too.

it was atrocious and cost Georgia the game. say what you will about the defense but i would take willie's ineptness over JJ's had he been forced to drive 80 yards. but, that's just how everything is falling for georgia as of late

awwww, yall just weren't used to losing, we aren't that bad!
jk, our fans our arse hats because half are sidewalkers from ATL and South GA. the rest are shite heads who go to UGA but only went their because it was a decent school they could afford. they make up the shitty parts.
