back in the 90s when daddy dale was still our coach we had a player leaster earl. He was a big recruit from the area. he had a little falling out and wanted to leave. Roy scumbag williams was talking to him while he was till on the LSU roster. Next thing you know ncaa gets involved and LE made up lies about LSU and dale. He got to go free and the ncaa put us on probation. We tried to get it over turned but they would have none of it despite dale leaving and all his players gone. then about 2 or 3 years ago earl says the ncaa forced him into saying the things he said about LSU and dale. So in my mind roy williams is responsible for these actions. Much like bama fans charge fat phil with the football probation.

Damn, I'd never heard that. Williams wasn't at unc then, was he? So you can understand why bama hates that fat rat fat Phil and the ncaa? I think the ncaa needs to be investigated. They have too much power with no one regulating them.

naw williams was at kansas at this time. Yea I understand the hate bama has for phil and the ncaa and i feel the same way about them. It was complete shite what they did to our basketball program. We werent good at the time but they made us way worse. We almost got punished as bad as baylor basketball for something way less

its a little different but i do see why they hate phil.
LSU fans have legit beef with ncaa and roy williams but most have moved on bc it is in the past or most don't care bc they are bandwagon unc fans which is sad as frick.

Yeah you're right but bama's money was not the only school's money that exchanged hands. But bama was the one that got fricked. A lot of ppl conspired against bama. Phil, the ncaa, and the Tennessee alumni / sec commisioner, just to name a few. And auburn has gotten away with some things with no punishment whatsoever.
