Yeah...I have short azz memory..we won two BCS titles but only 1 was actually bonafide spread offense in nature...the 2006 was hybrid...but who the hell do you think we had as a qb? Tim Tebow, remember?? Sure...lets get another Tebow or Cam Newton from the Recruits R Us store at the fricking mall. Since Tim left then what?????? We sucked.
I will take power downhill running from the proset anyday. We could never recruit the top rbs when we ran the spread...hell....everyone knows the qb is usually the leading rusher in the spread...we were in the race to get Trent but cant blame him for not wanting to run in a spread off.
