Adjusting expectations from 6-6 to 8-4 isn't delusional, especially given how terrible Arky is and how beatable AU appears.
You're trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Since Saturday, no Ag has called for 10-2 or a SEC championship. We're merely excited because we appear better than expected. We understand the competition has been subpar (that's why no one's calling for 10-2!)

how would you know? seriously? You have the exact record that you should have...even if you were ULM. I wouldn't be too quick to judge Auburn just yet. They lost to Clemson and LSU...you play them on the plains...and you will be an underdog.
If you understand that the competition is not just subpar, but WAY subpar, then how can you say you are better than expected. I hear people on here from your fanbase talking about your qb being SEC MVP...that is a joke.
Listen, I don't even dislike a&m. I'm not trying to make a big deal of anything. I am simply telling you guys to slow your roll.....every team doesn't get a stretch like SMU/South Car State/Arkansas/Ole Miss/Tech......

And Christ, man. I said AU appears "beatable." (notwithstanding LSU's 2 point win). I didn't call it a lock or even likely.

I think there was an expectation that A&M to get hammered in the SEC....and now that you have beaten a few teams, you think you are much better than you really are. You will get some additional false sense of security by beating the third worst team in the SEC this weekend...followed by a jr college the following week....Then, at that point, we will hear posters on here talking potential bcs, mvp, etc....and then all hell will break lose when you finally play someone better than ole miss/arkansas.

TAMU needed a late fourth quarter rally to to beat FIU in 2010. We went on to win 9 games, but had no business being in such a right game.
That type of thing happens yearly. I don't need you to tell me how bad Arky is. I've seen the abomination in person.
Here's what you can do: continue to discard A&M's early season success for the shite of it. That's really all this is. And when we win this weekend, you'll be doing the same thing next Monday.

2) This cuts both ways. You've seen nothing this year to champion the notion that we suck. These little jabs peel back the intent of the thread. It's just a flame job. If you were as objective as you purport to be, you wouldn't state in no uncertain terms that A&M isn't a good team -- you have nothing to base that on.

You don't have depth on the interior lines...it matters bigtime when you play quality sec teams, since that is what they thrive on. This cannot be underestimated, but somehow, you guys are underestimating it.

While I do think we are worse than you want to give us credit for, I also think it would be all worth it if we can pull it together for one our legendary upsets over LSU.

and this is what is sad...and it what symbolizes arkansas fans.....LSU truly is your superbowl. I'm pretty sure you guys are going to pull that defense together...lmao.........
btw...you had one upset in overtime over LSU....what is the talk about all of these legendary upsets.....? Sad when the elite teams point to conference championships, and Arkansas points to beating LSU.........yet you guys wanted to be accepted as elite before the season started, despite NEVER winning said conference championship.
