They can’t beat ranked opponents, they look soft in big moments, and while everyone else in the conference is improving, they’re just spinning their wheels. To top it off, their ceiling is a “redemption” win in some Cheez-It Bowl against a worn-out Big Ten team. Honestly, Iowa might be a better team than Tennessee right now.

This season equals Butch’s best season.
The Heupel era has fizzled out for sure but he unfortunately has way too high of a floor, and will be winning at min 7-8 a year while will drag this thing out far longer than it needs to go.
I wish we were 10% as cutthroat as LSU is, we’d likely still be employing Orgeron if the roles were reversed

I think you guys are rightfully scarred from terrible hires. This would be a terrible cycle to fire him anyway. I hate the Vols, so it pains me to say it but he has gotten you guys to a pretty good place, but having been through the Richt years I also get that you want more. This isn't the year though.
I'd say wait and see with his big QB recruits he's got. If he doesn't win then, he's not going to.
