(Posted on 6/21/14 at 11:57 am to jondavid11) quote: With the Finebaum show being 4 hours a day that's basically the Bama/Auburn screaming incestuous family show for a good part of the day. Then to have Finebaum on the SEC version of gameday you just have more Bama/auburn slant Finebaum actually has callers from around the nation talking about all aspects of sports. They touch on a lot of controversial topics. Give it a chance, you might enjoy it.
Oh I know the show. I've listened off and on for a few years. Paul is a GREAT interviewer. However, he controls which callers get time and which don't. Like clockwork now he only takes Robert from Iowa calls right before break, let's Johnathon from Tallahassee make one point then let's him go but will let Jim fom Tuskaloser call 4 times in an hour. Even though nationals now, and gonna be on SEC network, he still keeps it Bama/Auburn mostly by who he lets have time.
I'll correct my OP in that I will record and watch every SEC team football game, not just LSU but pretty much do that already with Directv DVRs.

Depends how forward thinking it is and if we can start to overcome Title IX restrictions. It could be, for instance, a way to develop men's soccer if we do it right. If baseball players could get full scholarships, talent across the boardwould increase.

I agree with OP. I can't see this bringing in any new fans that aren't already following their school . Another Fukin money grab .
