is LSU being slept on?

14 starters back along with the #2 recruiting class in the country yet people want to talk up ole miss and mississippi state

I think it is based on the same principle that a team led by rookies won't win a world title in pro sports.
LSU's QB will likely be a Freshman. The best RB (though maybe not the starter) will likely be a Freshman. The two best WRs (though Dural may have something to say about that) will likely be Freshmen.
That OL is gonna be one of the best in the nation, and RR/White make one of the best CB duos in CFB. But I think the big reason for sleeping on LSU is the number of Freshman occupying key spots.

They have to rely on too many true freshman to navigate an SEC schedule. Plus their defense wasnt exactly elite last year, so leaning on the defense wont be an option

nobody is saying win the NC, but when you're being picked 4th or 5th in the west thats something else.

our Defense is going to be stacked. We bring back almost everyone off a defense that got better and better all year long and still finished top 15 in the country despite being "down" by our standards.

LSU is going to be MUCH better than people think. The defense is going to be back to form and the offense is going to be much better than people think.
