I think this game will be tougher than most of our fans want to admit.

Me too, I think Auburn will win in low scoring close game.

Coaching staff year one. They will be overly cautious in terms of looking ahead, taking teams lightly etc. No trap game.

Yall are looking into this game too much. Dooley and the Tech staff will be unsure of what to prepare for against Chizik. Auburn has superior talent and it will carry them in this game.

Not worried about LA Tech in the least. I think you are going to see a new AU team with a much stronger offense hit the field. The team I'm somewhat concerned about is Ball State. They are a fast high scoring team that if you get into a scoring match with they can run up some points if you are not careful.

Will be the one questioning what went wrong after losing to Tech in overtime.

The way I see the game going is La Tech comes out and blows our doors off 31-10 in the first three quarters. Then, we somehow manage to reel off 30 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to keep from being embarassed by a team that we should thouroughly handle!

Wait, I'm having deja v........

Tech >>>> Troy St.

In fact, our 2nd tier schools>>>>Alabama's second tier schools.

I am not throwing stones, I was looking at the SEC team schedules and I thought this is an interesting match-up.

1. was legit, despite what some people are saying Auburn is going into somewhat of an unknown. I should have asked the question as what are ya'll % of winning. Are ya'll 100% sure?

I don't think anyone is 70%-80% sure we're going to lose to La Tech. In fact, I would venture to guess that probably 75% think it'll be a close game and about 99% sure we'll win the game. Auburn had a bad year, and they have questions that need to be answered. To say that we're 70-80 percent gonna lose the game is a little far-fetched, considering Vegas will have us as favorites.

i really can't imagine la tech going into Jordan Hare and winning. Did La tech make a bowl? sure. Are they "amped up"? Sure. they are from the WAC... yeah ok..

just don't see them going into AUB's backyard and getting a win. id imagine the difference on the O and D line will be the deciding factor.

add in 2 or 3 auburn turnovers and 10 penalties(tipped pass, qb sack/fumble, maybe a costly personal foul) though and its fair game. gotta love football!

Auburn 27 LaTech 10

WTF does this mean? The WAC isn't terrible. This isn't the Sun Belt we're talking about.

i realized after my post that statement seemed bad regarding the whack. Not my intentions, bad use of "...yeah ok"

i really meant that in a positive light, along with "bowl win, amped up, play in the WAC (a very very strong conference)"

LA Tech may very well be a surprise win/upset. If la tech was playing Aub the week before aub played Ole Miss LSU or Bama... id call it a trap. But for the home opener? Just don't see it.
