Alabama wanted a homerun hire at the time. I think he's a great coach, but he seems to be a lot like Pat Hill. His stock has fallen a lot over the last couple of years. He's rarely mentioned anymore when jobs come open.

Gay Jacobs looks dumb. Can't wait to see the record of the next basketball coach....in guessing his record will be in the 20 wins and 150 losses ballpark. Just a guess though

Pat Hill is no where near the league of Grobe.
Grobe stock has fallen because he is not going to leave Wake Forest.

Yes he is. He's a damn yankee too. There is enough yankee people here working for Wal-Mart. I say he should be burned at the stake.

Pat Hill was a hot name a few years ago. He too isn't going to leave his current program.
