2006. What does that have to do with anything? You do realize that the SEC can be won even without beating the great Alabama right? Further you do realize that past games have no bearing on future performance , right?

You've got it all wrong. National titles count only if you go undefeated; or if you didn't go undefeated but you needed another team to lose, and as long as you needed that loss of another team to occur during weeks 1-11 of the season.

Nutt loses games he has absolutely no business losing and his teams have no consistency from season to season. He is capable of pulling in the occasional good recruiting class but then will follow it up with a shitty class. If Nutt were anywhere near Miles' level he would have landed a better job than at 2nd rate SEC programs.

Well that tell your fellow corndogs not to laugh at the thought of other teams making it back to the NC Game. I guess it really is better to be lucky than good.

This is the operative word in your statement: NATIONAL CHAMPION. LSU was deemed worthy by the current system in place. It does not matter what was done historically or since then as the title games for each year are relative within the scope of those years only.
LSU was the best team that year and for whatever reason it just burns you up.
YOU name another team more deserving that year, and while you're at it, I'm STILL waiting on which team you support.

Dude, I have. They are stupid as Bama fans who say Arky will never beat them again. There being stupid doesn't give you cause to sit there and act like Arkansas is not becoming a program that has a real shot at winning a title in the near future.
I fully realize that you pray it never happens because those loons would be unbearable if it did, but it is what it is.

Luckily (haha) LSU seems to be both. I'm guessing your team is neither since you seem really bitter and angry at LSU's 2007 National Title.
It's ok to admit your team isn't as good as LSU. You'll feel better once you accept it.

you gotta admit. it took several teams losing that 2007 weekend to get lsu in....and not only that but i'm pretty sure most of them were favored to win. it was just one of those freakiest of freaky things that fell lsu's way that weekend. it's easy to see how lsu fans can't admit this (see auburn 2010)but seriously, what were the odds that would happen. what are the odds it will happen again?
