Lets stop all the talk about Hate, and just agree to disagree.

You said it best DC, Mullen is better than Kiffin but still has stirred up the MSU/Ole Miss Rivalry.

Houston Nutt is a good football coach and is doing a great job at Ole Miss.

Dan Mullen is a good young head coach, but still has to prove himself more after only going 5-7 last year.

How does that sound?

Reb Fans? Truce?

Fine, truce, so long as you're earnest about the beer-drinking part.

In denial about losing the Egg Bowl?! Try this on for size:

Ole Miss lost the Egg Bowl in 2009.

This. MSU fans make it seem like they destroyed us in that game.

They only out gained us by 27 yards. And Jevan F'ing Snead had 3 interceptions......one of which was a pick-6.

We fumbled inside the 10 and also kneeled it twice to end the game. We also had the ball for 37 minutes of the game and rushed for nearly 300 yards.

I'm aware of that. But it was hardly the shellacking that the scoreboard and MSU fans make it seem to be.

Was it as bad as the arse beating Ole Miss gave us the year before? Nope. But dominate the heck out of y'all in the second half of the game outscoring y'all 31-14 and we could have easily added 2 more tds in the second Half.

And we could have easily added 2 more TD's in the first. Don't get me wrong....a loss is a loss and it sucked like hell.

but it was completely obvious that we came out playing on our heels.

I think you'll agree that this years Egg Bowl should be a good one.
