Auburn would still have a decent shot because they have an x-factor QB and a RB that gashes teams. That's big against Bama.

But with that being said, the team that loses usually has the edge and is more fired up and focused on getting revenge. I saw LSU get blown out by ND in Tiger Stadium in 1997 and then I saw them blow out ND in the rematch in the bowl game. FSU beat Florida in 96 and Florida blew them out by 30+ in the rematch to win the NC in the Sugar. Billy Cannon had his famous run to beat Ole Miss 7-3 before my time and LSU lost 21-0 in the rematch in the bowl...sounds similar to something else.

It can go the other way as well, but it ain't easy at all.
