Had never returned to college football. Seriously I want you to think about this really good. Who would be your coach? Would there even be any conference realignment? Would the NIL even exist?.

The man made Alabama so dominant that he literally changed college football forever. Think about all the coaches hired and fired because of him think about all the rule changes because of him. His dominance was such that in reality you could argue that he ended up being his own worst enemy. One thing's for sure we won't ever see anything like Nick Saban again.

Well, he didn't do all of that, but was closer to it than who the media says did....

While college football is important at Auburn, what a 19 year young man does with a football does not control the lives or self-esteem of Auburn people. I do think Auburn folks gets the most enjoyment when Auburn defeats football factories like uat because it is important to prove that football is not that important. I feel sure the state of Alabama would be better off if uat shut down its football program. Maybe then uat zealots would care about an institution with academic concerns. Until that time, Auburn will continue to do the heavy lifting of feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, clothing the naked, protecting the vulnerable and healing the sick.

I’ll take it a step further.

How would the landscape of college football AND the NFL be right now had Saban and the Dolphins chose Drew Brees over Daunte Culpepper?

How did that decision effect the Dolphins, Saints, New England, Sean Payton etc not to mention the world of CFB
