A lot of places that are open around the clock (mills, power plants) will do 12 hour shifts

shite 14-16 hour days are normal in the oil and gas industry especially if you work in the field

I work 10hrs a day M-F normally. From Nov to end of Feb it's going as 10 hrs M-Th and possibly 6 on Friday, usually a coin flip as 6 or none.
