Like I said, if DW played at UG you don't start this thread
If DW played at UGA he wouldnt' have had the success he had at UF, so that argument is completely invalid.
ETA: And once again, I have no problem with tebow being #2 OR #1...so what's your come back to that?

TY. Now I'm watching this.

To show you how shitty this "the list" series is..
I watched one an hour ago that was "best games". '59 LSU/ole miss was #1. Best SEC game of all time. The current episode is best finishes. '59 LSU/ole miss is #4.
'80 UGA/UF was #2 on best games. It's #3 on best finishes.
Just seems like there's no rhyme or reason.

I'll reply since you stopped the name calling.
My response is that you have some bias against DW but not TT.

Why would I have bias against one but not the other? You just assume I have bias because he plays for florida. Has it never occurred to you that I simply don't think he's the best SEC QB of all time? Is that not even an option for me?

I agree with you. Peyton and Tebow would be better #1 picks.
Sorry your thread was derailed by morons

If Kheil Frazier isn't on this list, then it is horseshite.

road just has a personal vendetta against me for some reason. It comes and goes..last week we were cool, tonight it's flared up again.

Personal vendetta?
I just like razzing you sometimes and you do hate UF so it's easier than it should be from time to time.
DW was a great QB. Joe Cox would not be a good QB with Jerry Rice, Lynn Swann and Megatron to throw to.
You can put DW anywhere you want. This is why I don't get involved with the top this or that lists here. It's all arbitrary and just folks opinion that I don't really care about one way or the other.

I have seen those shows and they are extremely Alabama/Auburn centric
For example on the coaches list they have Spurrier on there and list him as both Florida and South Carolina coach. But when they get to Saban they only list Alabama and don't mention that he was at LSU at all

Well apparently!

Likewise..but I assumed that since I clearly stated I would have no problems whatsoever with tim tebow being #1, it would remove any perceived bias I have against florida.

That's simply an ignorant statement. He threw for 2600 yards and 24 touchdowns in his year starting. That was with AJ Green (obvious stud), Michael Moore, Israel Troope, and a freshman tavarres king at WR. Soooooo.....yeah I'm sure if he had those other 3 or 4 guys he would've been better. Don't be foolish.

They go that route because Alabama, by volume, has the most crazies.

Well finebaum is the host. I just finished watching the one for "best finishes". The uk/lsu bluegrass miracle was #1, and at the end PF weighs in with his person opinion (since he thinks we all care).
He says "Do I think this is the best finish in SEC history? ABSOLUTELY NOT! You know why? Because the very next week LSU lost to dennis franccione and alabama 31-0!!"
Ummmmm....what the frick does that have to do with the finish in that game you bald piece of gump trash?
Posted on 12/25/13 at 7:20 pm to WG_Dawg
On the lost of "best games" it seemed like every single one was an iron bowl or a some other win by either of the 2 schools.

Alabama wins have been on several lists I've watched in the past few hours.
-'12 SECCG
-92 SECCG
-van tiffin kick
-09 ut game
To be fair, a few of those would belong on such lists. But I mean the 09 UT game, really? C'mon.

Wuerffel was the best SEC quarterback I've ever seen with my own eyes.
Sure, he had good receivers around him, but he sure used them. Dude was a touchdown machine and he ran Spurrier's system to perfection.
I think the List has it right. He's #1 in my book.

You could say the same thing about murray, who threw for more yards, more completions, better completion percentage, and more touchdowns. Yet he didn't even make the list, and probably wouldn't even be in the top 20 according to experts.

And how many SEC titles did Murray win?
