Drinking homebrew off the keg tonight. Plan on hammering about a million of them (I have 20 gallons on tap). It's been a long week and won't get better for a while.

This. And if a variety is available, after you ask someone if they want a coke, you ask them what kind (coke, sprite, dr pepper, etc)
Eta: I was trying to explain this to some guys from Ohio today at work. They thought I was crazy.

If it's a sit down restaurant, I immediately tell them what I want. If it's fast food, I just say soda.

I have never really heard anyone say soda except for the guys I was talking about in my last post.
