I always liked meeting guys at bars, and talking, having fun. But the hook-ups stayed very PG. That just never appealed to me - I never wanted to be known as a cheap pick-up.

see your point. I guess it is all in how you perceive your self. ! way is that it could make you seem like a "Cheap Pick up" or 2, you could view it as a "Handing this guy a winning lottery ticket for 15-20 min" POV is everything.

Guys automatically assume that if you sleep with too them soon that you have slept with a lot of guys too soon, yet they do everything they can to get you to give it up then think less of you. It's s shitty double standard.

I used to hang out in the IM thread every night - then I had to step away for a while.
I still like to visit though - and the more fun I have, the more likely I am to hang out! Some of the IM threads are my favorites!
And Coastie - you're absolutely right. There is a major double standard, and we get the worst of it. I don't know what the "acceptable" time is. For me, it's all about the connection. Sometimes that's immediate. Sometimes it takes a while to feel that attraction. And, I have to be comfortable and secure with someone before I can sex 'em up.
