Yep. Not good for a one bedroom apartment and a little alone time.

This is for all: If you were friends on Facebook with a famous person (musician, actor, sports player, etc) and they asked you to leave their regular FB profile and go to a Like Page, would you go through the trouble to do it? It would be for everyone and not just one.
Keep in mind that every article or any type of media always commends this person on how accessible they really are as compared to other famous folks.

No... said person should set up there on private page and only befriend who they want.

No. In my experience the Like page is strictly for fans. I mean you could join it just to boost numbers, but I wouldn't remove the persons actual page. Of course in my situation the person in question has a well disguised profile.

Keep in mind these are more people like 30 and over.

That would be total chaos even assuming that the 14,000 are in between 18-24.

I suppose that wasn't your fault. Funny though.

Well, then yeah, I would go like their new page. "Pages" can have a shite ton of followers where "People" can't, they can only have a limited number. But I would like their new page, but wouldn't unfriend the other. They should just shut it down and start a new one for private friends.

Exactly. Not to say that it can't be done though. It would just take some good coordination across all three pages leading up to the switch.

quote:I can see this but this dude doesnt want any People pages. My boss has 3 because of the enjoyment of interacting with fans and because it seems more personal. The only Facebook contact this guy wants is a like page. Nothing else. However, I think the majority of these older folks arent going to fool with all of that when almost every day they comment on how they love the interaction with fans.

This is going to sound a bit retarded, but check the setup that the "Son's of Guns" people have. They use their like pages just like a personal profile.

pretty sure you can still interact with fans easily if you set up a "facebook page" but I don't have one so
