You think football is going to become like baseball where the hosting teams (similar to hosting a regional) will have a significant advantage on the traveling teams?

Let me say this. It’s fricking stupid. There are never 12 teams that deserve to win a National Championship in any given year.

17 games is too many, and I love college football. That would be 12 regular season games, 1 conference championship, and up to 4 playoff games potentially. Greater chance for injuries. Managing a student work load (especially if they aren’t online classes) and a 17 game season isn’t easy.
For us fans, it’s great, but for the ones carrying the load, that’s tough.
