It didn't happen. Taking the moral superiority angle is the last stand of the owned.

It makes me smile to see AU fans whining about fan behavior, even if the stories are gross exaggerations or outright lies.

We did win something. The SEC, the Rose Bowl, made the final four and the title game and were one play away from a NC. Today we just won the recruiting NC. What was Missouri? #40 wasn't it? When your team actually wins something - anything - give us a shout out.

See, this a perfect example, thanks SaturdayNAthens.

Thanks for exemplifying a typical very loud bark...very little bite Georgia fan.

I'm confused. How is he wrong? I mean, he said Mizzou had the #40 class and it was actually #42, but other than that, every word he said was true.

Wait, you didn't mention the part about getting spit on and said 50 year old man barking in the face of a 6 year old.

That about cover it?

Can't speak of any spitting. Never happened to me. Did see a couple of your finest get in a fight in front of little itlays though. Have y'all cleaned up the homeless problem in Athens yet? Rack em Willy and his homeless friends kept begging for money

I was trying to be kind. 40 42. What does it matter? Either way they have the worst recruiting class in the SEC and still spend their time insulting their betters. You would think that would be worrying about their own program.

Ok, apparently all this is going over your wee bulldawg heads, but I'm not comparing Missouri to Georgia.

Just stop stop the puffing up, strutting around, chest beating behavior. You aren't the world beaters you think you are .

Most of their message board posters on here are just terrible.

It's prudent, imo, to notice that the UGA fans that have been here a good while are for the most part reasonable. Most of the goofy and unbearable ones have registered in the last few months. Front runners.

How many people do you think would choose to spend a non football weekend in Athens over a weekend in Auburn?

Do you really want to compare restaurants.bars and music venues?

Better yet,how many people would choose to retire in Auburn compared to Athens?

I feel just the opposite. I like Georgia and always have. Sure they have some crap posters here, but all the schools do, and none more than Lsu fans. There ain't nuttin' wrong with Georgia fans as a whole.

Don't want to go this route. Auburn is one of the fastest growing family areas in Alabama. Huge family-centric area outside the loop. Vast numbers of Auburn grads set up roots in Auburn after they graduate.

Why not? I would love to pick out an anynomous couple who was unfamiliar with either town and have them spend a weekend in each and see what they think.

SO why don't you have your moving truck packed and ready to go?

Pick out an older couple looking to retire and ask if they'd rather retire in Auburn or a town that prides itself on bars? Knock yourself out homey. But if you've been to the areas surrounding Auburn, you arguing the the pros of Athens over Auburn for family living is like me arguing Auburn over Athens in regards to bars...you're going to lose every time. I've got tons of friends who went to UGA...I don't know a single one who is raising a family in Athens. They're now ITPers or OTPers.

Another 20 years of work, and the moving truck will be headed to Auburn. Lake Martin actually, but there will be a condo in Auburn.

OP maybe we are just proud of signing the nations #1 class after we just made it to a national championship that hasn't happened in forever. How dare our fan base be excited on how well our team is doing! Come on dude really! Any fan base in our position would be doing the exact same thing.

Any day of the week

You really don't have a clue do you? Athens voted top 25 retirement cites

That's in the country BTW and last year Forbes had em #1

Southern magazine also had Athens as a top retirement
location

And I have several that live in Oconee county and know zero Auburn grads who moved back. Why the hell would you unless you work for the school

Lake Martin

Da fuk does this have to do with Auburn? It's 50 miles away.If you said lake Harding you might have some credibility.

Well it happened to me. Still can't get the sight of that big fat AU rear end out of my mind. I'm afraid its seared into my brain for life. Not to mention a hefty bill to get my new car repaired. The guy at the body shop said it looked like the letters AU written upside down. It looked like an expensive mess to me. Guess some AU fan didn't appreciate us beating them in the 4 overtime game.
Oh yeah, I got sprayed by AUs water hoses as I sat minding my own business on the 26th row of the end zone on a cold night. At least a nice AU couple had the class to apologize to us as we were leaving.
Yeah, a trip to AU is always an adventure. Just like our trips to Ga Tech. You never know what stupid thing you will have to put up with just to attend a football game

I'd suppose the vast majority would rather retire in Athens than Auburn
