Number one, that happens in playoffs all the time. Number two, thats why i did a 0 or 1 loss comparison.

Notre Dame gets a bad rap usually. But they go well NCAAF goes very well. The Subway Alumni is a powerful organization.

I don't know what's more disturbing that ND raised standards when Davie took charge or Holtz had threatened criminal charges when he was at Minnesota for the Rickey Foggie deal. I think Foggie and Rice are from same place in SC, so something shady was happening.

The state of Minnesota was passing laws about paying players being a criminal offense. Foggie reported he was given money and all hell broke loose. Then Whacker came in and did the dumb thing turned his head about Foggie living above his means. It became messy. The university was also mad that Holtz left them at the alter when Our Lady called.

ETA: this all happend when the NCAA was hammering SMU and death was possibility for a lot of schools. Galen Hall and Charlie Pell almost had Florida shut down for doing dumb things. Billy Brewer tried to get Ole Miss on Triple Super Secret Probation.

I can't remember when the NCAA hammered USC, I know it was when Tollner was coaching, but everyone was doling out cash and Minnesota was trying to handle it in courts.

The Sansusky thing broke morality and it caused people to lump everyone into him. I still think Paterno did what he was required to do, but I struggle with McQueary. I feel that he was the second biggest perp as he did not act other than telling Paterno. He has to notify DHS or police since he saw an unlawful act. Paterno, from everything I read, only went on second hand knowledge.

The Bernie Fine thing to me was sicker as he used multiple states to perp.

That's why I never bashed Paterno. He did not witness it. He just had a story from one person. He reported it to the person above him. Maybe people can say he should've followed up on it, but he had no facts and couldn't just go to the police

Imagine every delusional Auburn, Bama, and Flagship fan put within 60 miles of Ann Arbor. Add a lot of arrogance, irrationality, and bitching. Its a Hell hole. The SECr and Tiger Rant in full meltdown look sane compared to Michigan's fan base. Every game they pack one more idiot in that stadium to keep their precious capacity record ongoing as well as further inflate their ego's.

Sandusky was his closest best friend. Paterno should have had him barred from the property years before he was caught raping boys in their shower.
