Delta State has an amazing athletic program for a school of ~3,000.

Delta State Football, Baseball, and Women’s Basketball were dominant in the 90’s and 2000’s.

I remember Delta State played North Dakota State in the playoffs one year and they talked mad shite about having to come to Mississippi to play a bunch of rednecks in the cold.

Delta State beat them by 5 TD’s in route to a National Title run.
